Indy Murder Rate Up 50% Over Last Year!

Though Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard is touting lower crime rates the excellent Hoosier News has taken the time and effort to compile the statistics and the harsh reality is that the murder rate in Indianapolis is 50% higher, year over year, than last year...

Monthly Murders Up 50 Percent

With committed homicides still unrecorded, the Marion County Homicide map indicates 64 murders thus far in 2010 compared to 106 in the full year of 2009. This year’s total of 64 only reflects figures through part of June! The average murders per month this year are up 50 percent from last year.

hoosier news yearly murder averages up

Its comforting to know that while Indianapolisians (is that a word?) are literally dying in the streets, Chief Ciesielski is bowing down to racial blackmailers and firing good line cops.

Here's the bottom line: once a city gives in to the racial blackmailers, as Indy has, its only a matter of time until the racial blackmailers realize the law doesn't apply to them. And then its Katie bar the door!

What Does Anarcho-Tyranny Look Like?

Sam Francis once described a condition of government he called "Anarcho-Tyranny" which he described as...

a combination of anarchy (in which legitimate government functions—like spying on the bad guys or punishing real criminals—are not performed) and tyranny (in which government performs illegitimate functions—like spying on the good guys or criminalizing innocent conduct like gun ownership and political dissent).

Wonder what that might look like in the real world? Ahem...

US court denies parents custody of Hitler and sisters

A US appeals court has ruled a couple who gave their children Nazi-inspired names should not regain custody, citing the risk of serious injury to them.

Adolf Hitler Campbell, 4, and his sisters, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation, 3, and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie, 2, were taken from their New Jersey home in 2009.

The case first came to public attention in December 2008 after a shop refused to decorate a birthday cake for Adolf.

A family court had earlier found there was insufficient evidence of abuse.

Let me of course quickly engage in some ritual denunciation of Nazi's, no I don't like Nazi's, yes I think Hitler and the Nazi's were evil, I suppose I better or they might just take my cats away, right?

I Own The World asks...

I’m in no way defending this couple, just merely asking a question. What about kids in Che, Mao, Stalin and Castro shirts? Those people were/are mass murderers as well.

As The Other McCain notes...

Allow me to suggest that (a) if the Campbells were truly the Nordic Übermenschen they claim to be, maybe they’d be able to decorate their own kid’s birthday cake at home; and (b) if the name “Hitler Campbell” bothers you, how do you feel about the names “Russia” and “Kenyatta”?

If you don't get the joke "Russia and Kenyatta" are the names of Shirley Sherrod's kids, she named her daughter Russia in 1967 at the height of the cold war. Think Child Services will be knocking on her door anytime soon? Or would that be racist?

I'm just curious, does a White American have the right to name their child after a loathsome dictator? I was under the impression this was the land of the free, but I guess that no longer applies to Whites?

Immigration Continues To Be Deadly To Indy!

illegal-immigration

One of the odder aspects the mental condition known as "open-border-itis" is this bizarre notion that it is somehow uncouth to note that immigrants, both legal and illegal, are bringing diseases to America's shores, diseases that we have no protection from, ahem...

Why whooping cough’s making a comeback Whooping cough is on the rise in industrialised countries, despite long-standing vaccination programmes. Now researchers from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, have an explanation for why: at least two strains of the bacteria that cause the infection have evolved to evade today’s vaccines. Now it seems an upgrade to a new type of vaccine may be to blame. Up until 1997, a “whole-cell” vaccine was used before it was phased out over two years because of concerns about side effects. Since 1999, a new “acellular” vaccine has been used.

California whooping cough outbreak largest in decades In the midst of what could be the largest whooping cough outbreak in more than 50 years — and the death of six infants under 3 months of age — California health officials are recommending booster shots for nearly everyone in the state, especially health care workers, parents and anyone who may come in contact with babies.

(W)holy, (W)holy, (W)holy Whooping cough is not just a childhood disease, and the number of active cases here in the US are climbing – in California alone, the number of cases has quadrupled over that of last year - enough for it to be labeled an ‘epidemic”. Cases have also increased in Arizona, Colorado, Montana, Oregon and South Carolina, and it is believe the numbers will further increase when children return to school.

And now for the local Indiana connection...

Indiana Whooping Cough Cases Up Some Worry About Spread Of Disease INDIANAPOLIS -- Cases of whooping cough in Indiana have been up recently, leading some to believe that the ongoing epidemic in California could spread to other states. Five infants were killed by the disease, which is marked by incessant coughing so severe that it can cause vomiting and broken ribs, 6News' Stacia Matthews reported. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, whooping cough, also known as pertussis, the disease spreads in cycles, and the United States is due for an uptick. The disease earned its name from the whooping sound someone with pertussis makes when they take in a breath. In the early 1900s, whooping cough was the No. 1 cause of childhood illness and death. After a deep decline in the 1970s, it's making a comeback. There were 400 reported cases in Indiana in 2009. So far this year, 130 cases have been reported, and one infant died from complications. Whooping cough is preventable through a vaccine.

I think its important to note that every one of those infants died because of our governments flat out refusal to guard our borders. The only other reason I would accept is that as soon as any country allows immigration, every time throughout history, the immigrants themselves grab onto the spigot and force it open against the wishes of the original inhabitants. This is exactly what we see in America and every other White Western nation. It is not bad manners to note the diseases immigrants carry over the border with them no matter how much certain groups would have you believe that. At one time immigrants were screened at the border for disease, remember that giant statue in the NY harbor? Right next door is Ellis Island, where immigrants were screened for disease, of course the vast majority of these immigrants were White, is that why it was ok to check them?

Post Racial II: Rangel & Waters Edition!

So it appears the current working strategy of the DNC is to call racist anyone who notices the shocking ethical lapses of America's Black representatives...

The Ghost of Willie Horton
Will the GOP play the race card on Rangel and Waters?

The commercial that keeps Democrats up at night does not exist yet. If or when it does, they expect it to look like this.

Fade-in to black-and-white image of Rep. Whiteguy Bluedog, looking sleazy and pale as he messily eats a sandwich.

NARRATOR: What is your congressman trying to hide?

Images of Rep. Charles Rangel, D-N.Y., and Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., appear behind the congressman, looking just as sleazy, but much less pale.

NARRATOR: Why hasn’t he returned the $1,000 he took from Harlem Democrat Charlie Rangel, who’s facing a trial for cheating on his taxes? Why did he oppose investigating Democrat Maxine Waters, who got a tax break for her husband’s business and says that American spies invented crack cocaine?

The images of Waters and Rangel fade and are replaced by slow-motion footage of two members of the New Black Panther Party, stalking outside of a polling place in 2008.

NARRATOR: Why did he support Barack Obama’s lawyers when they dropped a case against the racist New Black Panther Party, a hate group that threatened voters in the last election?

The image of the Panthers fade, and the congressman morphs into Barack Obama.

NARRATOR: What is he trying to hide? Is there something about him we should know?

Since last week’s double shot of rotten ethics news—the investigations into Rangel and Waters, both of whom refuse so far to settle—Democrats have contemplated two potential nightmares. The first is that Republicans will use the troubles of Rangel and Waters to try to depress the Democrats’ African-American base, making them less likely to come to the rescue of endangered incumbents. The second is that Republicans will use the embattled committee chairs the way that they once used Willie Horton, as Halloween masks in TV ads.

“In 2006, the Democrats could have put out ads about Mark Foley, and it wouldn’t have made a difference whether they used pictures of him or not,” says Bob Shrum, a Democratic strategist for multiple presidential campaigns who now teaches at New York University and warns of Republican race-baiting in the weeks ahead. “In 2010, if Republicans put up photos of Rangel or Waters, they’re putting them there to elicit another kind of response. That would be fear among white voters.”

The Democratic angst comes, in part, because they know they’re facing a whiter, older electorate this year than they faced in 2008. The electorate that put Obama into office and pulled in new, vulnerable Democrats was 74 percent white, and 53 percent were older than 45. In 2006, the last midterm election and a fine year for Democrats overall, the electorate was 79 percent white, and 63 percent were 45 or older. Will an older, whiter electorate in Nov. 2010 be susceptible to a racially-tinged message from the GOP?

Let me ask you something, when did it become "racist" to tell the truth? When did telling the unvarnished truth become a "racist attack?" Can a fact be "racist?"

You'll note that at no point here is the article suggesting that the Republicans might lie, in fact it is at pains to note that, in point of fact, what the Democrats fear is the Republicans telling the truth.

Which should tell you everything you need to know about claims of so-called 'racism' from partisan shills on both sides of the aisle.

Here is a perfect example of that kind of cynicism from Journolist's Spencer Ackerman...

At one point, Ackerman suggested that fellow members of the listserv should fight the way the right is fueling the Rev. Jeremiah Wright story by choosing one of Obama’s conservative critics, “Fred Barnes, Karl Rove, who cares — and call them racists.” ... , “what I like less is being governed by racists and warmongers and criminals.”

... In other words, find a right winger’s [sic] and smash it through a plate-glass window. Take a snapshot of the bleeding mess and send it out in a Christmas card to let the right know that it needs to live in a state of constant fear.

That pretty much sums up the current reality, yes there is such a thing as racism but, the term has been so debased, so abused for partisan gain, it must be ignored completely.

Is All This 'Conservatives Are Racist' Talk Designed to Save Dems in November

I would be remiss not to mention James Edwards new book which covers this subject in excruciating and hilarious detail Racism -- Schmacism.

Welcome To 'Post-Racial?'

Is this the 'post-racial' America Obama promised?

Deacon allegedly staged fight to bait IMPD officer
An Indianapolis deacon could soon face charges accused of setting up a fight to see how a white police officer would respond to two African-American men fighting. During that incident, the officer was hurt before organizers put a stop to the demonstration.

Indianapolis —

Investigators are considering pressing charges against James Harrington, an Indianapolis Deacon for reportedly baiting a white officer to see how he would respond to two African-American men fighting.

"Several individuals said to Sgt. Matthew Grimes we were just trying to find out how police would respond to a fight," said Public Safety Director Frank Straub Monday by phone. "Every indication we have is that they set up this officer."

The event took place July 24th at the Municipal Gardens public rec facility on the near north side. Grimes was there to speak to children about diffusing altercations. As Grimes was speaking, the scuffle between the two men reportedly began. Grimes, police say, tried to break up the fight and was pushed to the ground. He was injured, hurting his back.

"In the course of doing the right thing he (Sgt. Grimes) ends up in this confrontation and gets hurt ," said Straub. "I find it to be reprehensible to be honest with you." *snip*

Reverend Harrison who's been following the story says there has been at least one other recent incident. He says a child acted up to incite officers. When police questioned the boy he told them his family had encouraged him to act up in hopes they could file a lawsuit against the police department.

Here is news video from the incident...

The kicker? At this point only Fox News is reporting the rather salient detail of the race of the various players. How can a person make sense of this story without knowing that the officer was White and his assailants were Black?

Here's yet another example of the racial lead being buried. Post-racial? I think not.

Nick Stix has a great comment here...

Here is what Harrington's co-conspirator, Gupton, meant by “a teachable moment”: ‘You’re nothing. Your badge, your gun, your title are worthless here. We will do with you as we please, and there is nothing you can do about it. We are the law here.’

And to all of the black males in attendance, he was saying: ‘This is what you do to them.’

And upon reflection this story reminds me of nothing so much as this disgusting, yet sadly typical one from earlier this summer...

An unruly mob lured emergency personnel to a southwestern Illinois housing complex with reports of a blaze, a shooting and other crimes, then repeatedly attacked them with fireworks and bottle rockets, police said Tuesday.

No one was injured in the onslaughts against firefighters and police Sunday night and early Monday near a sprawling, three-block housing complex in Alton, Ill., a 30,000-resident Mississippi River city northeast of St. Louis.

The attackers apparently intended the assaults as amusement for a crowd of several hundred adults and children who had gathered at the Oakwood Housing Complex to watch, at times requiring police to fire volleys of pepper balls to control the throng, Police Chief David Hayes said.

“It defies human logic,” Hayes said, calling the outbursts “despicable” and uncivilized. “It’s the work of hoodlums that would create a ruse like that to lure in emergency services people who are paid to protect them and be at their service, then use those resources as target practice and fun” with firecrackers, bottle rockets and other fireworks all outlawed in Illinois.

What Does Irony Look Like?

Why, here's a tasty example, contrast & compare...

Some Israelis complain that illegal migrants are taking jobs away from citizens. Others worry that the non-Jewish workers could upset the Jewish nature of the society.

At the Sunday Cabinet meeting, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu agreed with the critics. "This is a tangible threat to the Jewish and democratic character of the state of Israel," he said. (link)

With this...

Gideon Aronoff, president and CEO of the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, said he is working with other Jewish organizations to draft a broad statement condemning the federal government’s failure to enact comprehensive reform.

“Are most of the Latinos who suffer from this law Jewish? The answer is no, but we look at this through the oral commandment of ‘welcome the stranger,’ ” Aronoff said. “We are all Americans, we are all our brothers’ keepers.” (link)

Don't get me wrong, we're not bashing Israel for quite sensibly protecting their nation from foreign encroachment, just noting the double standard and asking if they can protect themselves why can't we?

Here's a little more from an Israeli columnist, infiltrators? I would like to note for the record that this is not racist because, um, actually I don't know why this isn't racist when I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that the ADL would damn me to hell for suggesting build a fence on our Southern border like the nice shiny one, um, Israel recently built.

Our good blog friend OOV notes the irony as well.

Carlos May Appointed To Department Of "Reconquista Affairs?"

As we always like to ask "where does diversity lead?'

Mayor Greg Ballard's office announced yesterday the appointment of former congressional candidate Carlos May as "Director of Latino Affairs."

May, who ran unsuccessfully for the 7th Congressional GOP nomination, has repeatedly said that he will be back and will run again. May wants to stay involved in the community and be a center piece for change in Indianapolis.

Ballard will call on May to "increase awareness of Indianapolis’ rich cultural diversity" and "raise the city’s international profile", according to the press release.

Oh goodie! Nice to know in the race pandering whore sweepstakes the Republicans can stoop just as low as the Democrats!

Also, we snagged this story from the Conservative Hardball site who appears to think this is a good thing, we would challenge the CH to explain what, exactly, is conservative about any aspect of this?

We wonder how long until we see exciting signs like this one in Indy?

you owe us

Of course he probably shouldn't bother, Hispanics don't.

Black Violence Continues To Shock Indy!

When real estate agents call a neighborhood 'vibrant & diverse,' is this what they mean?

Gunfire at party kills 2 and wounds 6

Is this why Mayor Ballard is hiding crime stats?
Is this why Mayor Ballard is hiding crime stats?

A smoking stack of shell casings, bullet-riddled cars, wounded bystanders scurrying to the hospital.

For the second time in less than a month, Indianapolis police are sorting through the chaotic aftermath of a mass shooting -- this time with eight victims.

And this time with two people who did not survive.

Police do not think Tuesday's assault rifle attack at a birthday party on the Near Northside was connected in any way to last month's Downtown shooting spree after Indiana Black Expo events, in which a 17-year-old is accused of shooting nine people.

But detective are investigating whether the two shootings share the same motive: revenge.

"We are looking at the possibility that it is retaliation for another crime," said Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Chief Paul Ciesielski. But he refused to elaborate further.

Police also refused to confirm speculation in the neighborhood that the shooting may have been payback for a homicide two years ago.

Mayor Greg Ballard whines...

"It makes me very angry when people do this and ruin the peace of our city," Mayor Greg Ballard said as he visited the scene in the 1200 block of West 32th Street.

Know what makes us angry Mr. Mayor? How about hiding Indy's crime stats?

The FBI collected the crime data from more than 13,000 law enforcement agencies around the country. Indianapolis did not provide 12 months of complete data before publication deadlines, the FBI said.

And as the Indianapolis Times notes...

While Ballard is going around town claiming that crime is down in Indianapolis (he seems to conveniently forget that the city's murder rate so far this year is a near-record pace), it's hard to say whether he's telling the truth.

Why is everyone having such a tough time believing Ballard's claims? Because Ballard's public safety folks conveniently failed to turn in the city's 2009 crime statistics the FBI. *snip*

By the way, the latest figures show that the city has tallied 56 murders so far this year (and it's still May). At this rate, at least 140 people will be murdered in Indianapolis this year.

Ask the Mayor what he's hiding: (317) 327-3601 (be polite!)

PS: And don't be afraid to ask if that crime report will come with racial breakout tabs.

Madlibs with Hoosierpundit!

Hoosierpundit has an interesting post, directing our attention to this piece, talking about the unmentionable -- legal immigration...

When the President proceeds to declare that any future immigration bill must likewise “make it easier for the best and the brightest to come to start businesses and develop products and create jobs,” he is acknowledging the fact that most immigrants to the United States — even the legal ones — are not being imported for any clear economic purpose. It’s a little-discussed fact that most legal US migrants in any given year are simply refugees or the family members of existing immigrants, with qualified, accredited, ready-to-work professionals only representing a minority.

At some point Americans need to have a frank discussion about what they want and need their immigration system to actually do — both for the betterment of the nation, and the interests of its existing, native-born citizenry. Illegals may grab everyone’s attention, but they are hardly the only issue in a very complex and multi-dimensional national dilemma.

And Hoosierpundit follows up with...

There's a whole lot of focus (rightly) on illegal immigration and what to do with those that are coming here illegally and those that are already here illegally, but there's very little attention at all given to restructing the policy that governs those that want to come here legally.

Let me just go ahead and flat out say the word that Hoosierpundit is dancing around: demographics!

As we talk about immigration into this country we need to stop pretending that importing a Somali is indistinguishable from importing a White Briton, or a German or a Swede, just to name a few of the groups that actually helped found America, as opposed to the multi-cultural clap-trap that passes for reality these days.

We need to stop pretending that one day, magically Blacks and Hispanics are going to vote country above race (hint: they won't) and understand that the whole purpose of immigration isn't to provide three hots and a cot to the world's impoverished, but to serve our national interests.

No matter how much that might make Liberals, Leftists, Progressives and Communists cry!

Even The BBC Begins To Notice...

Obama's sheer unsuitability as Commander in Chief of a nation he has so little in common with...

McCain’s America, rooted in the Scottish-Irish folk inhabiting the mountain ranges of the Appalachians, still stands – at its core – for the values passed down the generations since the Mayflower landed.

McCain is about the Protestant work ethic and all that came with it: The Puritan Origins of the American Self, as one author called it, still hold sway in McCain’s America.

Lazy thinkers tell us that America is a nation of immigrants. Actually, it isn’t. It is a nation of settlers. Succeeding generations of American immigrants have been required, in essence, to sign up to the original dream.

It is about hard work and self-reliance and optimism and improvement. This is the America McCain represented.

It is not Obama’s America.

Of course as James Edwards notes in his new book (buy it here!) McCain threw the election out of sheer terror of being called a racist...

[McCain]rolled over and played dead for Obama, and allowed Obama to walk all over him. Why? For one reason: he didn’t want to be called a racist. So he pulled his punches, and refused to go after Obama where he was most vulnerable, on the one issue that really could have connected with average Americans when it came to why they should vote for him and not Obama, which was Obama’s long membership in Trinity United Church of Christ, and his love for ‘Rev.’ Jeremiah Wright, a man who clearly hates white people.”

The truth is simply this: when the histories are written the Obama administration will be remembered as the first step, the first dagger in the heart of multi-culturalism, the first step back to racial sanity in America.

While we're on the suject of my favorite treasonous weaselsnake John "Effin" McCain, I would be remiss if I didn't note how they manage to hang on to power to keep on screwing the American people...

For a little while this past spring, it looked like John McCain’s re-election bid might be in serious trouble. There was that widely mocked immigration ad and a campaign shake-up, and his poll numbers weren’t as high as they used to be.

Well, that’s not a problem anymore. Three weeks before the GOP primary, polls find McCain with an average 20-point lead over his opponent, Rep. J.D. Hayworth.

But it’s a lead that McCain paid heavily for. According to his most recent campaign filings, McCain spent more than $10 million over the last three months, bringing his total spent on the race to just over $16 million. By comparison, Hayworth has spent just $1.5 million on the race.

But the bigger story is how McCain’s spending tended to undercut the message that his campaign operatives tried to peddle to reporters covering the campaign. For months, McCain officials laughed off Hayworth as a joke of a challenger — something that the polls would seem to confirm today. But money talks in politics — and it’s clear by the McCain camp’s exorbitant spending that its strategists viewed Hayworth as a serious threat, especially against the backdrop of other GOP incumbent losses.

Which begs the question: to who (whom?) is it worth $16 million (With an M!) dollars to make absolutely certain the deeply flawed, yet deeply anti-illegal immigration candidate J.D. Haywarth absolutely, positively did not win????
