We've been talking about the reintroduction of bedbugs and whooping cough among other things lately.  Grand Rants hits it out of the park in this one...

You’ve probably heard of heirloom vegetables. You know, they’re the ones that have been preserved by passing seeds down from generation to generation. Heirloom varieties are generally at least 50 years old, but many are 100 years or older.

While heirloom vegetables are actually benign–and frequently very tasty–it seems to me that we are currently witnessing an alarming wave of another type of heirloom: diseases. I started thinking about it when I read this post from Gateway Pundit earlier today, about an outbreak of typhoid (yes typhoid) in California and Nevada. Typhoid, once the scourge of many major cities, was nearly eradicated by the advent of clean water technologies in the early part of the twentieth century. Yet typhoid is back, and it’s not the only heirloom disease we’re seeing in America of late.

We’ve probably all seen the reports in the paper, on blogs, and on the nightly news of outbreaks of bedbugs in places like New York City (replete with video that’ll make you think twice before climbing into bed). But it’s not just there. Those little suckers (ha!) are appearing all over the country. 

You’re no doubt also aware that we’ve been having problems with salmonella. According to the Food Poison Journal, there have been 12 major outbreaks of salmonella across the country this year, none of which seem to be related to the current egg recall.

Leprosy is another heirloom that was once nearly wiped out in this country. But in northwest Arkansas in 2008, there was an outbreak. Sadly, it’s not just in Arkansas, either. *snip*

Another oldie once thought to be under control, scarlet fever is back this year, as well, and in our nation’s capital.

Tuberculosis, another throwback to yesteryear, is also making a come-back. Once thought to be on track to be completely eradicated by this year, evidence suggests that it will not happen.

Typhoid, leprosy, tuberculosis, scarlet fever, bed bugs. All thought to be afflictions of previous generations, rendered harmless by better sanitation, better technology, better medical treatment. All alive and well here in America. Why?

My take?  So long as our so-called gubmint allow our borders to hang open like a screen door on a summer day we'll keep seeing the return of things that civilized first world nations had previously defeated.  Its not complicated, so long as we allow third world folk to stroll into our country we should expect that third world problems will follow right along in their wake, right?

And sadly, we no longer have defenses against these diseases so what's crossing our border will be a death sentence for some unknown number of Americans, but I'm sure you agree that providing inexpensive burger flippers and landscapers is well worth the lives of some Americans, right?

Rare foreign economic espionage case in Indy

A federal magistrate judge today ordered that a former Carmel man who worked for Dow AgroSciences be detained while he awaits trial on espionage charges.

Ke-xue Huang lived outside Boston at the time of his arrest last month and has Canadian citizenship. He is accused of making plans with researchers at China's Hunan Normal University to use his insider knowledge from five years at the Indianapolis-based Dow Chemical unit as well as the company's trade secrets to produce an organic insecticide.

Dow's Chinese patent is set to expire in 2012, and a federal prosecutor said during today's detention hearing that Huang and his associates were gearing up to produce the same insecticide.

While Chinese espionage may be rare in Indianapolis, then again who knows how many haven't been caught? The truth is that Chinese espionage is hardly rare in America. Of course its not just China.

We Americans need to grow up a little bit, too many immigrants see this nation as the USATM, and will extract every resource they can before screwing us over in some spectacular fashion. The idea that immigrants come here to "become Americans" appears to be an antiquated notion.

So what happens when you bring non-citizens into a country to be workers? What happens every single time in the entire history of the universe, no exceptions?

Six recruiters were accused of luring 400 laborers from Thailand to the United States and forcing them to work, according to a federal indictment that the FBI called the largest human-trafficking case ever charged in U.S. history. The indictment alleges that the scheme was orchestrated by four employees of labor recruiting company Global Horizons Manpower Inc. and two Thailand-based recruiters. It said the recruiters lured the workers with false promises of lucrative jobs, then confiscated their passports, failed to honor their employment contracts and threatened to deport them. Israeli national and Global Horizons CEO Mordechai Orian, 45, has been charged with leading the conspiracy.

This also explains the desperation of employers who are addicted to illegal slave labor. I mean, who wouldn't like cheap disposable workers, right?

Hate crimes directed against Muslims remain relatively rare, notwithstanding the notoriety gained by incidents such as recent vandalism at the Madera Islamic Center.

Jews, lesbians, gay men and Caucasians, among others, are all more frequently the target of hate crimes, FBI records show. Reported anti-Muslim crimes have declined over recent years, though they still exceed what occurred prior to the 9-11 terrorist attacks.

“We see hate crimes generally go in spurts, and are often in relation to international or domestic events,” Ibrahim Hooper, spokesman for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, said Friday.

In 2008, 105 hate crime incidents against Muslims were reported nationwide. There were 10 times as many incidents that were recorded as anti-Jewish during the same year, the most recent for which figures are available.

When we talk about media bias I think it bears noting that I think some of it isn't a conscious decision. Many times it is simply the reflection of the worldview and mindset of the reporters and editors themselves. To wit, an interesting little story popped up in my reader detailing the horrific crimes of one Chris Smiley and his henchfolk Ayannah Willis, and Lotoya Harlin, all of whom held at least one girl as a sexual slave selling her off like a piece of meat and pocketing the profits. Now obviously I was curious as to the racial components of this story but in story after story there were no pictures and no one was willing to mention the race of the perps.

Black people love television so much, they pioneered a station that broadcasts programs geared just for their consumption, Black Entertainment Television. However, there is one program that Black people find difficult to watch and it is on three or four channels in every city, yet germane only to that particular city: the FOX, NBC, CBS and ABC Nightly Newscasts.

Baltimore, New Orleans, Washington DC, Atlanta, Birmingham, Memphis, Knoxville, Miami, New York City, Los Angeles, Detroit, Houston, Minneapolis, Dallas, Chicago, Cincinnati, St. Louis and countless other major cities in the United States all have nightly news broadcasts that beam to the local residents the news of the day.

And those local residents of the cities listed, and those not, get a glimpse into a world that is normally blocked from their eyes: the real Black America. And for Black people, this is an untenable sin for the only image of Black people that they want non-Black people to form of them comes from ESPN, The Cosby Show and Barack Obama. *snip*

Nightly newscasts paint a horrifying picture of the chaos and disorder of life in a majority-Black city and the utter depravity and corruption that individuals living in those cities daily live through.

Black people are embarrassed by this broadcasted behavior and try and ignore it. White people watch the news and move away from it,the hope being that it won't follow. Those souls practicing gentrification in Black areas, find they they might be part of the broadcasts themselves and made an integral part of the story.

The Nightly Newscasts of every major city shatter the illusions held by well-meaning people and Black people know this and hope they will all stop broadcasting soon.

And I think in their heart of hearts the "good people" running most news outlets know this and do everything they can to hide and obfuscate these simple facts.

Let me be perfectly clear, I am not noting anything here other than the wholly uncontroversial notion that there are differences between the races, and one of the differences is crime rates. We have no interest in wading into the how's and why's however we do think that it is important that the people and businesses that are paid to provide us with the information we need to navigate the world tell us the truth, the whole truth.

So let me answer the question posed above: it is Black and Hispanic people who are the vast, vast majority of human smugglers in this nation along with a smattering of other immigrant groups. This is simply not the behavior of civilized people.

And that's the Hoosier Nation difference! We will tell the whole, unvarnished truth unlike the so-called pros. Join us as we try to create new channels of communication and attempt to render the Three Monkey Media as irrelevant as they deserve to be.

As average American citizens and law-abiding Tea Partiers who happen to be white are being branded “racists”for exercising their 1st Amendment rights, Twentieth Century Fox and Latino filmmaker Robert Rodriguez are set to release the anti-white snuff film Machete this Friday, and the silence is deafening.

Throughout the movie, white characters involved with trying to stop illegal immigration and secure our border with Mexico are demonized as corrupt racists. Minutemen and militias are portrayed as wanton killers, murdering illegal aliens and children in the desert “like jackrabbits” and using derogatory terms like “wetback.”

The great irony is that there has never been so much as one documented case of a Minuteman or militia member committing violence against illegal aliens. As a matter of fact, all violence that has been reported from the border has been perpetrated by illegal aliens and Mexican drug cartels. Violence like this year's murder of Arizona rancher Robert Krentz, who police believe was killed by an illegal alien he was trying to assist.

Hoosier Nation, an Indianapolis-based white advocacy group, calls on all Americans to reject this racial double standard. Matt Parrott, head of Hoosier Nation: “How can a film that glorifies killing people because they're white be part of our president's promised post-racial America?” Brian Jacobsen, Hoosier Nation's media director, wonders, “Would it be taken as a joke if the movie glorified white people murdering illegal aliens at the border? Then why is it considered amusing for a Latino director to fantasize about murdering whites who disagree with him politically?”

During the heated debate over Arizona's SB1070, written to combat the state's illegal immigration crisis, Director Rodriguez thought it would be funny to release a special trailer in response. The trailer threatens the majority of patriotic Americans (polls consistently show 60-70% support for the bill) with violent bloody death unless they agreed with his political point of view: amnesty and open borders. Rodriguez's message for Arizona, delivered by the heavily tattooed Danny Trejo as Machete in the trailer? “F^@# Arizona!”

And to add insult to injury, Machete was made, in part, with your tax dollars via tax incentives and location access provided by the Texas Film Commission.

Hoosier Nation is calling for all Americans to protest this racial double standard on a local and national level. Hoosiers are invited to join the organization in protesting Machete in the Indianapolis area this Friday (time and location to be announced on their website: www.hoosiernation.us).

If you think it's a joke, ask yourself if this movie could have been made with the roles reversed: with glorified White heroes slaughtering stereotyped and dehumanized Hispanics. If you don't think anybody takes this seriously, consider this comment to the website we received yesterday from a "concerned parent":

How do you respond to the fact that white people have proven to be unable to refrain from committing genocide when they run into groups of brown people who refuse to do as they command them to (which is usually to die)? Rationality and realism would seem to dictate that the only compassionate, Christian thing to do would be to prevent white people from organizing (they tend to be very dangerous in groups-- they can't help but start wars; I think it's in their genes.), and prevent them from holding any power of any kind.

For well over a decade, Hollywood has made a concerted effort to cast movie Presidents as Black men...and look how that turned out. The stereotypes, themes, and morals of these films have an impact on both children and adults. The last thing this country needs, given the escalating racial tensions, is a movie that glorifies racial mass murder. We hope you'll join us in standing up to the anti-White media machine.

Though too busy to do anything about the ongoing Whooping Cough epidemic in Indiana, or the bedbug infestation that is making Indy residents plenty uncomfortable, Indy lawmakers are tackling the tough issues like, forcing errybody to show ID when purchasing booze...

Buyers, sellers react to new ID law

The nearly two-month-old law requiring liquor stores to ID everyone has been accepted by local liquor stores, but has received mixed reactions from customers.

On July 1, an Indiana state law went into effect requiring all vendors to card customers who purchase packaged alcohol, regardless of age. In the past, there was no law requiring those who appeared to obviously be of legal age to present ID. For the most part, employees and customers seem to have had no problem conforming to the new law. Ben Reiling, manager at Bar Barry Liquors in West Lafayette, said he has not seen any resistance from employees.

“People are OK with it,” Reiling said. “It’s not like there’s anything we can do about it.”

While its always possible I've lost my bloody mind, I have to ask: was there a great hue and cry against adult citizens of this great state not being hassled by the state during this transaction?

Now, I am not a Libertarian but still I have to ask: is this just one more example of the state not trusting its citizens and treating them like children? Do they feel that it is dangerous to allow liquor store clerks to use their judgment as to who needs to show ID and who doesn't?

Note, this is what happens as we near the Anarcho-Tyranny point, lawmakers busy themselves with nonsensical laws that harass average Hoosiers and tie them up in knots while refusing to deal with big ticket items like corruption, illegal immigration, out of control government growth.

The bottom line of Anarcho-Tyranny is that it is a reaction of our government to try and suppress the people and keep them from asking impertinent questions of our elected betters.

CBS to Black Beck Rally Attendees: ‘I'm Noticing that There Aren't a Lot of Minorities Here Today’

CBS and the rest of the MSM have decided the Tea Party movement is racist and hostile to non-whites, and it’s a mantra they’re going to illustrate whenever they see an opportunity. Reporter Nancy Cordes saw a “nearly all-white crowd” at Glenn Beck’s “Restoring Honor” rally in Washington, DC, as she (at least an off-camera female voice) demanded of two black women who weren't afraid to attend: “I'm noticing that there aren't a lot of minorities here today. Why do you think that is?” One of the women shot back: “They're probably over there with Al Sharpton.”

While retarded blogger Dave Neiwert looked at this primarily homogeneous group and saw...

Dunno about you, but when I saw pan shots of the crowd -- which was one of the whitest crowds in D.C. in recent memory -- I mostly thought I saw "the next Timothy McVeigh."

While there is absolutely nothing suspect about the attendees of the Al Sharpton rally being predominantly Black.

Why is that?
