Hostettler Announces Bid for Senate Seat
Many of you may remember that Indiana once had U.S. Representative John Hostettler in its 9th congressional district. He was ousted from office by the Israel Lobby for being among a mere handful of Republicans who refused to support our disastrous "nation-building" efforts in the Middle East. Some time has passed since then, some facts have become available to the American people since then, and the non-interventionist conservatives are resurgent.
On December 2nd, Obama announces that he's sending more of us to die in the desert. On December 3rd, Hostettler announces his candidacy for the Senate. Additionally, Karl Rove has now announced his support for Barack Obama's foreign policy strategy. As some of the most embittered among us predicted he would, Obama started singing the tune of imperialism shortly after winning the election. Now, finally, we in Indiana may have an opportunity to send a tried and true traditional conservative to Washington.
