America Besieged! – Chapter 7 – Multiculturalism and America

Chapter 7: Multiculturalism and America

Let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven – The Tower of Babel, Genesis 11:1-9

Tower of Babel

The story of Tower of Babel in the bible acts as an analogy for what is happening in our present-day United States. In this tale, mankind started out as a united people, “Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language”. Yet they sought to create something greater and nobler, a tower that would reach to heaven, which we can compare to the idealistic vision of a multicultural utopia. They had great dreams and set to work with the best of intentions, “and this they begin to do; and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do”. The end result was a disaster; the people lost their unity and cohesion, they became “scattered” and “confounded”. This is precisely what we see happening in modern America, where multiculturalism is tearing the nation apart.
