Africa is a very large continent, over 11 million square miles in area, which is greater than all of Europe, the U.S. and China combined. Africa is home to many different nations, peoples and tribes, who have very colorful cultures and ancient traditions. Those of African descent live in many other areas of the world as well, including the South Pacific, Western Europe and the Americas.

One of the saddest and most regrettable episodes in U.S. history was the slave trade, which brought large numbers of Africans to the nation, who have left many descendants. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, African Americans are expected to increase from 39 million in 2003 to 61 million by 2050, greatly expanding their voting numbers and possibly becoming the majority ethnicity in some states. In order to understand what this will mean for America, it is important that we examine those areas of the world that are governed by those of African descent.

Unfortunately, wherever Africans are the majority, there are low standards of living and very high rates of social problems, such as crime and illegitimacy. This tragic situation holds true virtually everywhere in the world. In France, Black ghettos are squalid and dangerous places, where riots are common and the police dare not enter. In Brazil, large numbers of Blacks live in rickety shantytowns known as “Favelas,” which consist of ramshackle dwellings with little in the way of streets, sanitation, telephones, electricity or plumbing. In the Caribbean, nations with large Black populations, have conditions that approach those of Africa. In Australia, over 70% of aborigines live in poverty, with high rates of social ills.

Many researchers believe that because IQ strongly correlates with success in life, the universal problems that Africans face are rooted in their lower IQs and other genetic traits. As mentioned previously, African Americans, who are on average 25% White, have an average IQ of 85. This is 15 points below that of Whites, and has serious negative implications for their population.
