Our traditional America, that envisioned by our founders, is under siege. More and more Americans instinctively sense that something is very wrong with our nation. A 2008 poll showed that 81% of Americans feel that America has seriously gotten off on the wrong track. A 2007 poll showed that 73% of Americans were worried about losing their national traditions and culture. We may not be able to put our finger on what the root causes are, but we see signs everywhere; a government running amok, a culture in decay and a society rife with dysfunction.
Most of us can probably agree that our nation is changing, moving away from what the founding fathers intended, and rushing head-on toward something that they warned us against. Our founders sought to create a nation with an Anglo-Saxon cultural core, a commitment to Christian morality and an appreciation of its European heritage and traditions. As John Jay wrote in the Federalist Papers, the founders envisioned “one united people — a people descended from the same ancestors, speaking the same language, professing the same religion, attached to the same principles of government, very similar in their manners and customs…a band of brethren”. Most importantly, the founders sought to secure a nation that would be a birthright for their posterity; their children, grandchildren and future generations of their descendants.
Of all the many changes we see taking place in America, the most sweeping shift is in the ethnic makeup of the population. European Americans have always been a majority in the nation – even at late as 1970, they were about 90% of the population. This reflected a long-held desire by the founders and most of their successors to maintain an America that had a distinctly European character. However, this policy was abandoned in the 1960s, when immigration laws were drastically changed, and the gates were opened to the third world, which “set America on a very different demographic course than the previous 300 years”. This was a course that resulted in tens of millions of immigrants flooding onto our shores since the 1960s, coming primarily from the third world, and maintaining high birth rates after arrival.
And the demographic changes this has caused are extraordinary. By 2010, Europeans had dropped to just 63% of the population, and the majority of births in the nation were non-White. The Census Bureau tells us that if immigration continues at its current rate of nearly two million people a year, Whites will become a minority of the under-18 child population by 2023. And by 2042, European Americans will be a minority in the nation their forefathers built. This may well occur even sooner, if an Amnesty bill for illegal aliens is passed in the coming decade, as seems likely.
Is this seismic change in population a good thing for European Americans? Will the nation that America is being transformed into be something that we desire for our grandchildren and great grandchildren? For make no mistake, this massive population shift has very real consequences. One example is the tectonic shift in politics caused by the different voting patterns of each ethnic group. The Republican party gets over 90% of its votes from European Americans, while non-Whites vote overwhelmingly for the Democratic party. In 2008, the Democrats were supported by 93% of African Americans, 67% of Hispanics and 62% of Asians. These are long-standing voting patterns, as non-whites support a strong federal government, while Whites do not.
This shift in political power is something that minorities are well aware of, if many European Americans are not. As Jose Angel Gutierrez, a Professor at the University of Texas has stated publicly of the influx of Hispanic immigrants: “This is our homeland. We belong here…We are millions. We just have to survive. We have an aging white America. They are not making babies. They are dying. It is a matter of time. The explosion is in our population.”
Professor Gutierrez is correct about the demographic picture. For each year that passes, European Americans move closer to minority status, losing more of their political power. We can expect to see many other changes as well, which will transform America over time. This book will explore the consequences of this population shift, what these hold in store for America’s future, and how they will affect you, your family and your childrens’ children.
But be forewarned, this book will challenge existing sacred cows as well as many of your currently held, cherished beliefs. Forbidden subjects will be examined in detail, and you will find views that society sees as heretical and deeply politically incorrect. This is an adventure only for the brave at heart. As you read, I urge you to courageously keep an open mind while you explore the topics ahead, for that is the only way any of us can find the truth. And these are subjects of the utmost importance, which are critical to understanding what is happening to our nation and what lies ahead for us. In the words of Senator Zell Miller, “So, as the sand empties through my hourglass at warp speed and with my time running out in this Senate and on this earth, I feel compelled to speak out. For I truly believe that at times like this, silence is not golden. It is yellow”.
Well, I am not entirely a Hoosier, living in Texas as I do, but my Uncle Samuel Quincy was, and I lived with him and his wife there for a good long time. I always loved Indiana of course. My mother’s parents had a small farm there when I was growing up, which was definitely during ancient times. All I want to say is that around here the Bubbas carry guns and it’s legal, but they haven’t got a clue who their enemy is. One I asked what he would do if suddenly a hundred thousand Mexicans invaded our town, and he just said that it would be all right, there was plenty of room and it wouldn’t bother him at all. That’s the problem as I see it. No government is ever going to be able to do what is going to be necessary in dealing effectively with this problem, so therefore it will be the responsibility of individuals, but the individuals I know aren’t going to do anything either. One day, not long from now, all the people around here will be one shade of brown or another, and it will be too late for them to do anything. They will be turning over in their graves wishing they had.
